The curved jaws in the ROTEX® GS coupling hubs prevent the Spider from extruding at high speeds. This allows for more support to the axis of rotation. If the two couplings are slightly misaligned the Spider helps support the couplings by compensating for the shaft displacement. Furthermore, the ROTEX® GS couplings are explosion proof and are suitable for use in hazardous areas of zone's 1, 2, 21, and 22.


*Note: For a complete coupling, two Hubs and a Spider must be selected.
