KTR's torsionally flexible ROTEX® curved jaw couplings utilize in-compression spiders to transmit torque while accommodating for misalignments in either horizontal or vertical applications. The curved-tooth design of these low-maintenance couplings allows them to be both shock- and vibration-dampening. ROTEX® couplings are also suitable for explosion-proof use. ROTEX® couplings' performance ratings are largely defined by the spider selected. KTR's newly developed T-Pur Spiders for ROTEX® couplings - made of KTR's own improved polyurethane material - can withstand higher temperatures and have a longer life than the older polyurethane spiders.
