Stepper Drivers with Preset Indexers
Anaheim Automation manufactures Stepper Motor Drivers integrated with Manual Preset Indexers in both modular or Driver Packs packaging styles. This product line is offered in one or two-axis board-level models that can drive 2 and 4-phase stepper motors rated at 0.5 to 12.5 Amps per phase, model dependent. The Manual Preset Indexer can be operated manually or with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to index a set of pulses determined by the internal count switches or an external count module.
Anaheim Automation manufactures Driver Packs with a built-in Manual Preset Indexer, matched power supply, and cooling fan. These Driver Packs employ a bilevel drive technique, so that they do not create the EMI, RFI, and motor heating problems. The DPD72451 is a single-axis model, while the DPF72452 is a two-axis model. Both units can drive 4-phase stepper motors rated at 1 to 7 Amps per phase. The Manual Preset Indexer can be operated manually or with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to index a set of pulses determined by the internal count switches or an external count module, such as a Thumb Wheel Switch Counter (AA1760 Series). Functions include Home, Hard and Sift Limit inputs, two Homing modes, Jog/Run, Fast Jog, and switch-selectable Base Speed, Max Speed and Acceleration/Deceleration. Thumbwheel and other counter modules are purchased separately.

Anaheim Automation's DPFHP451 is a single-axis Driver Pack with a built-in Manual Preset Indexer, matched power supply, and cooling fan. The DPFHP451 employs a high-performance bilevel driver technique, so EMI, RFI, and motor heating problems are eliminated. The DPFHP451 can drive 4-phase stepper motors rated at 1.4 to 12.5 Amps per phase. The MBC10SI1 is a microstep driver with a simple indexer feature, rated at 1 to 10 Amps per phase.
