The BLD76-1 is a stepper motor driver that can drive motors rated from 1 to 7 amps/phase (unipolar rating). It
can handle 6 lead and 8 lead motors. This driver features a unipolar bilevel (or dual voltage) drive technique
with short circuit, open circuit, over and under voltage, and over temperature detection (with a Fault
LED and output). A transformer is required to power up the driver. The BLD76 driver can also be purchased as part of a Driver Pack, in one to four axes, with matched power supply, in a fan-cooled enclosure, or with controllers. (See Drivers Packs).
See Accessories on this website for driver adders, such as shielded motor cables and connectors. For compatible high-torque stepper motors, consider our popular 23Y, 34Y and 42Y series. For standard torque (round-bodied motors), see 23W, 34W, 23D and 34D series.
